Steve Boyer has been the Assistant News Director at WPBF News 25 in West Palm Beach since February 1999.

Prior to that, Steve was the Assignment Manager at WPLG in Miami for nine years.

He also worked at WCIX/WFOR as Assignment Manager and at WSVN as an Assignment Editor.

He attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, and graduated Cum Laude in 1984 with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. He returned to his alma mater in 1998 to teach courses in Broadcast Journalism in their Graduate School of Communications.

Steve enjoys spending time with his son Steven, who plays on the Jupiter High School football team, and hanging out in their Jupiter Farms home.

When he's not working at WPBF, he enjoys playing tennis, attending and watching UM football games, and travel.
